A musician for the past 15 years, Ottawa-based guitarist Kevin Daoust has performed with a variety of artists of different styles. No stranger to the stage, Kevin has performed with Serge Monette, Paul Demers, The Brecker Bros. Tribute Band, The Tammy Jones Band, The Inertia Project, the KD Trio, Stone’s Throw and Limelight (A Tribute To Rush) only to name a few. He has taken the stage at several venues and festivals including La Tranzac (Toronto, ON), Franco Fête (Moncton, NB), La Brunante (Sudbury, ON), La Nuit sur l’étang (Sudbury, ON), The Ottawa International Jazz Festival (Ottawa, ON), The National Arts Centre (Ottawa, ON) and the Super Ex (Ottawa, ON).
Kevin’s studio experience includes recordings with Stone’s Throw, Stephen Muss, The August Band, Nico, Calendar Girl and Règlement17. He also engineered and produced demos for the Ottawa band Blackbox Confession.
He is currently the guitarist and background vocalist in the Ottawa-based cover bands, The Shatners and The Nimoy Brothers, and continues work as a freelance guitarist for a variety of artists.
